Insured’s Duties in event of a Loss:

When you or a member of your staff are made aware of a potential claim or are served with suit papers, notice should be forwarded to World Wide immediately by fax, e-mail or via overnight mail

Upon our receipt of first notice of loss from a client, a claim submission is prepared and forwarded to the specialty insurance claim unit electronically or via overnight mail. It is essential that this be done by WW as we supplement the documentation sent to us with underwriting information mandatory for the review of your claim.

Within approximately 7 days a carrier representative will review the claim correspondence with WW for coverage determination and further investigation.

Within approximately 7 days, the insurance carrier claims adjuster will contact the insured in writing, with a letter of acknowledgement, to advise how investigation will proceed and discuss processing. The claim identification number will be included.

If a lawsuit has been filed against the insured, carrier adjuster will assign legal representation for the insured. Note: Counsel assignment is made directly from a pre-selected list of attorneys who are experienced in the staffing industry as well as the jurisdiction in which the claim occurred.

WW monitors all claims from initial report to conclusion. Our clients are urged to contact us at any time during the claim process with questions or concerns.
